The 10th anniversary celebration of the Lighthouse Museum will take place on Florida Lighthouse Day on Saturday April 25th from 10am to 4pm at the Boca Grande Lighthouse. The Coast Guard will be conucting rare tours to the lamp room of the lighthouse, and there will be crafts for the kids, cake and drinks, a dulcimer player, and giveaways while supplies last. Special guests include Dian McKeithan Miller and her sister Joyce, daughters of the last Lighthouse Keeper, Vernice Rodriguez, who attended the old Boca Grande School, and one of the Bell sisters, who also grew up on the Island.
